G'day

Looking good, Ben .. you've done a really good job with your ponds! Enjoyed watching your small video. Ya dogs luv ya :)

Housing market over here is very slow at the moment. The housing prices have dropped and at the moment it's a buyer's market. :(

I've started a blog which will follow the building of our new home. Only 2 posts so far and probably won't post anything else until things start to happen.

If you're interested in following it, send me your email address and I'll pass it on (didn't get a chance to save email addresses when my hard drive crashed :( ).

Cheers

Lynne

Hiya Lynne:
It's definitely a buyer's market here. Homes being sold for 2/3rd's/half whatever of their "original" market value. Problem is, many people can't qualify for a new home cause'
they walked away from the last one.
Anyway, I'll find your email address later on after work today and shoot you one.

Monday

A drive to a place called Sells, Arizona today. But, before that, shoot off an email to the ops manager. Ummm, already done. Proofread it, made sure it said what I wanted it to say and didn't say what I don't want it to say, done. This concerning a foreman at a construction site who was unhappy with me because he said I was being "argumentative" with him.

I can boldly and firmly say that I was NEVER argumentative with that man and don't intend to engage in such with anyone I am dealing with on the company's behalf. The only problem with that email I sent out is that it was pretty long. Went over it a couple of times and didn't see where I could cut anything out, so I didn't.

Oh well. Start of another work week, but, after Friday work I have 8 consecutive days off, plus whatever is left of Friday. I bought the ham and turkey on Saturday, get the rest of it this coming weekend. In fact, I will get another turkey to freeze once I am able to pull the one in my freezer out. I scored a 22 pounder at Fresh and Easy. Fry's brought their price down to the same price as Fresh and Easy. They HAD Jennie-O frozen for 55 cents per pound, yesterday I was in there and it suddenly changed to 37 cents per pound. Too bad, so sad, the lady at Fresh and Easy gave me an extra $5 off my order so I saved way more than I would have gotten at Fry's anyway.

Well, they're saying the cost of this year's turkey dinner is going to be higher. Yeah, well not if you shop around. I mean, if you want a fresh turkey, then yes, the prices have gone up. I don't think I've ever bought a fresh turkey for myself.

Umm, time's run out. I used part of my pre-work ritual time to go over that email and get it sent off.

G'day.

Hi Ben! I absolutely LOVE your ponds. They are really beautiful. I could sit by one of those all day and just relax. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Did you decide to stay in town or will you be going to your Dad's? Take care - Terri
