There was no reason to build more schools, we are a population of 23,000 give or take. They said there would be no increase in property taxes. I quoted the same thing they had said a few years earlier, yes there was no property tax increase that year, but the next year, they increased substantially. So what was the work around on the current one? Nothing, according to them. Property valuations went up substantially instead of a percentage increase. There IS fuel getting to the carburetor and when I dump fuel through the choke, it starts up and runs fine for a few seconds. I'm assuming carburetors still have floats and bowls and I'm assuming the float is stuck, or perhaps cracked and full of fuel and won't float at all. I dunno, but it is likely a new carburetor will fix the problem. As for computers, I have spent many hours of my life trying to figure out problems. Even with Youtube videos and reading tutorials, it can still take forever to figure out problems. I never saw them come off, no one tried to get my attention by honking, flashing lights or coming up beside me. I went through a weigh station on I-30 so I presume they hadn't come off before then, that leaves about 36 miles of highway where they could be. I was looking today for all of it, I could see none of it anywhere. The problem is those wheels with tires mounted to them could very easily have destroyed property, maimed/killed someone etc. Now, I have seen a truck tire - wheel and all - rolling off the side of the interstate, it rolled into our view and rolled out of our view into the night, we were about 400 feet off the Interstate where it came off. So at 70 mph, I would presume that if they headed towards the woods, they are gone forever. The brake drum, however, should not have been able to travel very far.<br />BenBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09010864129122224612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5728287180412980995.post-47349535708254330102024-01-24T18:52:16.094-07:002024-01-24T18:52:16.094-07:00When a wheel came off the 13 ton armored truck I w...When a wheel came off the 13 ton armored truck I was driving, it went rolling on the road ahead of me and I watched it roll into a ditch at the side of the road, where I stopped so the tow truck could pick it up at the same time they towed me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5728287180412980995.post-38556888821720664792024-01-17T19:41:33.086-07:002024-01-17T19:41:33.086-07:00They may do that elsewhere, I dunno, but they don&...They may do that elsewhere, I dunno, but they don't do it here.
