 Tuesday - night

Just a bit before bedtime.

In unimportant to anyone else news, my Nintendo Switch 2 has developed a thin, black line horizontally on it in the middle of the screen. It doesn't affect play - at all  really - but I spent a good amount of money on that thing.  I haven't had it that long and I take very good care of it.  So I contacted Nintendo and wasn't particularly shocked to hear that I would have to send it in to them via UPS and that it takes 2 - 3 weeks to get it fixed and then returned.

Nintendo makes a decent product but their service leaves something to be desired.  They are expensive products and you would expect a bit higher tier of service oriented to making the customer happy, but they really don't do that at all. You are on their terms and if you don't like it? You're out however much you paid for the system that needs repaired.  I'm going to send it in even tho I really don't want to - losing using of the game for that long?  I use it out on the road when I'm waiting at the plants to load or while I'm offloading and just waiting for the trailer to empty out.

Speaking of that....I was unloading at the plant in Gurdon today and saw a group of people walking with a safety coordinator.  They were not plant laborers, I knew that from looking at the way they were dressed.  I dunno, but I tend to do the job right. Except today, I left the truck for a couple of minutes to go to the bathroom.  I came back and then a plant low level supervisor came out and just said so and so (I'm not mentioning names here or even the company I was at) wants you to stay with the truck and wait right here for him.

Uhh, I can stay at the truck, I usually do anyway, but I am not staying there, I have to watch the pressures.  The man stated that safety people were here without further explanation, but it was obvious to me instantly after him saying that that those were corporate people.  Sure enough, the manager comes out and says in very gentle tones that those are a group of corporate people and can you please stay with the truck while you're unloading?

It is possible that something could happen? Yes, of course.  The delivery hose could break, the couplers couple break and product dumping out all over the ground. It isn't hazmat so that's not really a huge issue.  I am not gone long enough for the pressure to somehow get too high or low. I wasn't going to argue with anyone, it's their plant, they can run it however they want to.  I had those corporate people spectating me a couple of times, I pretty much ignored them. I am working, if you want to watch me, feel free but I have things to pay attention to and I don't need distractions.  Most of the people I have encountered at that plant, corporate people included, are very nice.

Nice, that is, until you do something wrong, ie: make a mistake. Then they are ALL over you.  One safety dude saw product leaking out of my truck one day and raced to the manager to tell him to come out and look at what was going on! OH NOOOO! RUN FOR THE HILLS!!  There's just one problem here: it wasn't product, it was just tap water.  Water I was pumping into the truck to help the last bits of product flow out.  The manager came out, looked at it, laughed and walked away without saying a word.  Lol!

Day 2 of water fast is over, was over a couple of  hours ago, I'm into day 3.  I got a bit weak there for a while at dinner time, not only dinner but also the wonderful leftovers sitting in the fridge.  It took quite a while for that desire to shove food down my throat to pass, but it did, indeed, pass and now I"m not hungry at all.  I'm trying for a minimum of 3 days, which would put me eating at 9:00 pm tomorrow night. I'd really like to make it 5, but I doubt that will happen.  I've fairly well decided to go back on keto. In fact, I need to go test the urine and see if I am in ketosis. After 2 days of eating nothing, I should be.  I'm going to have to think of what I want to start eating.  Salads, sandwiches on keto bread, meats but more chicken and turkey than anything else, still stay off the heavy creams and dairy products as much as possible.

It's that or just eat once a day and eat whatever, but only once a day.  Or, just keep it healthy with mostly salads with chicken and nuts in them.  See? I haven't really decided yet now that I think about it lol.

Anyway, I'm a bit tired and I want to get to bed earlier than I have been.

G'day/night.
