I'm putting this out there for I have seen nothing about this in any review I've read. The reason I didn't immediately buy the new Nintendo Switch 2 is because they aren't coming out with the OLAD version until 2027. I wanted the larger screen size and saw no reason to pay that much money for the "normal" version.
There have been glowing reviews about the Switch 2 everywhere, but nowhere, and I mean nowhere, did I see any reference to it's screen size. It's important to me for I am getting older and I need as much screen as I can get to be able to play effectively.
Well, we bought Switch 2's today at Walmart. I already have the old version. I pull the Switch 2 out of the box and was absolutely amazed: The screen size is FAR bigger than even the OLAD! Why isn't anyone talking about this, this is news! I have them both sitting side by side right now, transferring the info and there is no comparison, the Switch 2 is a LOT bigger than the OLAD, by far!
That's it. I don't even have the system set up yet, I'm working on that now, but to a lot of people, I think this is information they have been looking for.
