Saturday - night
It is currently 33 degrees outside at 10 pm and slated to get down to 21 or 22 depending on which weather forecast you are looking it. Either one is cold. I didn't need to do anything at the park since it is still weather proofed from not long ago when I went around and made sure everything was insulated.
Work this morning - I had a hard time getting out of bed today. I went to bed too late last night and I just didn't feel like getting into a truck and driving 300 miles plus delivering the product plus stopping for fuel. It was a long day because of it but the good news for me is that I have tomorrow off.
But, only tomorrow off and then back to the races. It's supposed to get down into the teens in Gurdon tomorrow, I feel for whoever has to stand out there delivering. They need the product. They had room for almost 6 truckloads in their system when I arrived. By the time tomorrow gets here, it'll be back to that number. I am unsure why they aren't getting the product level higher. You get a bad storm or something happens that keeps us from driving? You don't have resin and you can't make plywood.
The grandma, grandpa and the half brother are all here. This is going on through Monday morning. I wouldn't mind terribly but the man has a hearing problem so he turns the tv volume up so loud that you can hear it everywhere in the house. She has gotten better but she still wants to control everything. She made the kids go to bed at 9 - stating they have church tomorrow. I informed her church doesn't start until 11 am, they don't have to get up early. But, she kept saying they have to get up early. She has been drinking - a large amount of Jose Cuervo gold tequila. I didn't want to argue with her, I'm sure the kids are probably watching a move in their bedroom.
As for politics, we have the left assaulting ICE officers and then saying ICE officers are the aggressors. I've watched enough videos, they are sworn police officers and are oathed to uphold the Constitution. And they aren't playing. I wouldn't be either, especially if people were throwing rocks, chairs, metal, whatever at me. The left is blaming Trump for coming to the verge of a civil war. No. I've been saying this for years: if the left continues on with this hate and anger against the right? There will be a civil war at some point and I really don't think the left is going to win that one. They haven't seen what the right can do when they are pushed over the line. And boy, are the left pushing.
Trump, however, is making a mistake if he thinks most people want to take over Greenland. I stand firmly against any military operation. That would be outrageous and I would like to hope senators and representatives in Congress would take a stand against him. Sorry, but I'm definitely not in agreement with Trump over this. If they want to sell out, that's a different story. But, we are so far in debt right now, why are we wanting to take on an entire country? Why not just work with them - Denmark apparently - and ask them for the land we need to build whatever facilities we need over there? Why do we have to take over the entire country? We already have a base over there as it stands, can't they just expand it?
I'm fairly clueless on such matters so I may be saying things that are stupid, ignorant and uninformed. All well and good, but the notion we are going to simply take over a country for no more reason than - we want it for strategic purposes is intolerable.
Then we have the Iranian regime who have now admitted to killing thousands of its own citizens over the protests. They are in fear of losing control, that's what's really going on. Demonstrate a callous willingness to execute your own citizens, put fear into their hearts and force them to back down.
