Sunday - night
Went to church as usual, but stopped at the park, not usual on the way back. I had someone say the coin receptacles in the laundry machines were full and I had to finish covering up my side of the park pipes. It's not even 9 pm right now and it's sitting at freezing, projected low is 23 degrees. Well they keep changing it, now it says 24. Any way about it, I'm protecting my pipes. It is no fun replacing pipe and fittings in below freezing weather
Then, just a few minutes ago, we realized we needed to check our 3 outside water outlets. 1 the lady ofhte house covered up, the second on the side of the house we don't use and was still covered from last year and I ended up covering up the one behind the house. The fish? Are on their own. They will survive, tho. The pond wont' completely freeze, just the top will. Goldfish and Koi can and will survive freezing temps. They pretty much just go dormant, not moving at all.
I've done what i can, the temp in the shed is set at 72, but it will likely drop significantly overnight, still, the pipes should be good. They are on the inside of the wall insulation and we've been through this kind of temps and even much colder before and I haven't had a problem.
