I decided to give up on that junk grinder and go buy a decent one to finish this job. My manager said no, I'll bring one in tomorrow, it's a good one.
Cool. Didn't want to spend the money anyway.
I have identified numerous areas on the roof that need to be brought down to the metal and recoated. Much of it will be easy enough, not a thick coating, but I don't want to get up there, use this piece of junk I have for 3 minutes and then have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for the motor to cool off.
That is hardly a motivator to even start on it, much less get the job done.
I do hope he brings it, I want to get that junk done before it starts getting warm or even hot.
As it stands, finding the rest of what I need for it is going to have to wait until next month when more tenant money comes in, cause' I'm getting too low on funds and I don't tend to spend money on anything but basics when things start getting tight.
The tenant that was in the hospital came back - his surgery was a success and the arm is healing.
There isn't really much new going on around here besides the crap yesterday. I came home from work to hear Mark telling me that the kids - 18 and 19 year olds - next door were talking about how I had just thrown a rock at them over the fence. Meanwhile, apparently the are shooting pellet pistols at each other in their back yard. Number 1, I didn't throw rocks at kids, I don't throw rocks at anyone. Number 2, I don't really like the idea of pellet guns being shot off next door to me.
Turns out? 350 man threw the rock at them. What a dumbass.
Whatever. Time to leave for work.
