Well, the drive back today was uneventful.  Manager calling me asking me what trailer I'm bringing back. Ok thanks.  That was it.  He's not one to mince words, but now that I've found out that he gets literally hundreds of phone calls per day - and from drivers that are calling him for things they need not bother him with more often than not - I have more sympathy for him rarely ever talking to - most of us.  He is dealing with numerous different divisions that aren't even in our state.  These people constantly call him.  I mean, literally, when he calls me, is directly to the point and the call if over. If it lasts 15 seconds that's a long phone call. I'm surprised he didn't just text me for the info.

Not really complaining about that, it's the runs that I was getting I was complaining about, but now he's given me a third Brownsville run - that's 3 in a row - I 'll take a s*** run after this without any yelping.  I'm shocked they are giving me 3 of them in a row, to be honest.  I don't do the run any better than anyone else - well most anyone else, some people have issues making it down there the same day and back up the next day if a trailer is available.  But I'm thinking too much about it, me thinks. Could be payback for al the crap runs, mistake, just next in line, who knows.  You get 3 of those runs in one paycheck such as this will be? Oh yes, that's a very good paycheck.  Maybe because it shifted back from the dispatcher to him - he was on vacation for over a week.  Sheila gave me the first two Brownsville runs.

Home today.  I got back at 4:45 pm, so I wasn't going to stay in the truck tonight even tho it's a 6:30 am appointment,  if it were 7 or later, I wouldn't have come home.  Kids. Standing at the door. Waiting.  I have no idea why they are so enamored with me.  Can we come in your room? Can we do - this that and the other thing.  I helped the 5 year old with drawing pictures for quite a while. I'm not a drawer, tho, I just looked up tutorials on how to draw whatever really - you put it in there and a video is going to come up and show you how to draw it.  Well, maybe I'll become a drawer, he is constantly asking for help with drawing.  That's not a hat I normally wear lol.

Well, it's past bed time, just relishing a few moments at home before having to get back out on the road again.

G'nite.

Found it.  Quickbooks is rather complex and involved and freely admit I don't necessarily know how to navigate it. That where AI comes ...
