Some trailers/motor coaches that are listed are really difficult to tell if they are good inside from the pics. In this case, the pics are blurry and it's hard to make out details. It's 60 miles to go see it and I'm sort of sitting here wondering if it's worth driving that far for something that may turn out to be a dud. I'm leaning towards the "no, it's not" side of things. It's the only thing currently in my price range.
The people that played the games with the trailer starting several days ago and culminating in their actions that are less than honorable claimed they are Christians "lol" so apparently that shields them from any wrongdoing. It was amazing how callously they flipped that term out. But, as far as I can see it, this is the state of the Christian church today. Pastors do not preach repentance for the most part and people are given carte blanche to live their lives the way they want to. There are ample scriptures to show otherwise, but if these people are deceived, there isn't anything beyond prayer that I can do about it.
The pastor in our church does not preach repentance at all. I've listened to enough sermons. He has half the equation right in believing, the rest, however, is left out. I think his intentions are good, but if he believes people are going to pick up a Bible and start reading it that simply say the words that they believe? I don't know about that approach. I haven't asked him directly about certain scriptures - and there are a lot of them - that lead a person to the understanding that certain lifestyles are "prohibited" by scripture and why doesn't he discuss repentance?
But, the Bible also says to take the log out of your own eye before you can see clearly the speck that is in your brother's eye, I have enough of my own junk to deal with, they can believe what they wish. I just think people are led astray, however, without hearing the fullness of the Gospel.
On to other things. The man is coming today to give me a quote on the property grass. Something I'd like to get going and get behind me. I figured at most a grand at the price for the lowest price seed he uses. I just want grass that can tolerate full sun and heat. I don't need fancy wancy, I need whatever works that will look good and will come back the next season after winter hits.
I don't really know what else, besides just dealing with stuff at the property. Vacation mode is over and it's time to refocus and get priorities straight, that's about it.
