 Saturday - morning

It is Saturday but I just published thursday's unfinished post, lol.

We had a change of plans yesterday at the last minute. We were going to go to the waterpark today, but the lady of the house remembered she had a prior commitment that she couldn't break.  So, it was 10:00 am, yesterday and we just decided the heck with it, let's go today!

about an 80 minute drive over there, we get out of the vehicle and walking over to the ticket window.  Some lady way down at the other end started yelling at the lady, but she was busy talking to her man (I'm not sure I should be putting my friend's names on here so I am trying to remember to discontinue doing that).  I tried to get her attention, then the dude's and back to her - that lady down there is yelling something at you for whatever reason.

The other lady?  4 of her family members were a no show, she had free entry tickets, did we want them?  Does a snake eat rats?  Does Superman fly? We happily took those tickets - which saved me $120 or so and that was all she wrote.

This was not a huge waterpark but it was plenty of fun and the biggest plus? There were not that many people there.  I went down the long, fast, winding tubes until my head started getting dizzy then I headed over to the mini wave pool.  Nothing like I expected at all. A wave pool is a giant pool - at least at other parks I've been to - that sends out very large waves. You get a raft, go all the way out towards where the wave comes out as close as they'll let you get to it and you start paddling like crazy.

You ride that wave all the way into the shore which is usually at least 100 feet if not much more.  Often times you crash over top of people - but they are standing there expecting it for whatever reason, but I can tell you from experience, if you crash hard enough into a person, they are going to feel it.

Well, this pool was maybe 50 feet long if that by 30 feet wide and just these little waves being created making more of a nuisance than anything, but we adapted.  Just played Tag You're It!  for an hour, then went around the lazy river, back into the tubes, over to the wave pool but I can tell  ya, I spent more time in the lazy river than anything and pulling trains of people along behind me.

I was exhausted by the time we left there at after 8:00 pm and still feeling it today.

So, the days were reversed and I am trying to muster the energy to go over and mow the grass over there and maybe try to get some bush hogging done as well. I'm not very energetic after yesterday.   I didn't even get out of bed until 9:00 am after going to bed at 9:30 last night.  I'm glad we reversed the days, I can see trying to go to church today and then get ready for work tomorrow.  No, no, no.  I was exerting quite a bit of energy yesterday pulling those tube trains around.

Sunday - evening Brrrr, it's getting cold.  42 degrees with real feel of 39 at this hour of the day? I'd call that winter, at least...
