Steelers WON!!!

Dang, whatta game.
First thing they show is snow coming down.

I take that as a GREAT sign for the Steelers - I have seen them playing their best in snow, rain and mud.

Chargers score right off the bat. I mean, I think it was 3 plays and they scored a TD.
Didn't care, beginning of game.

The rest of the game was history.

I wonder if history will show a Cardinals V Steelers game,
or possibly Pennsylvania game?

Or - no Steelers at all. Gag.

No thanks.

Ravens up next.

I'm done for the weekend.

Made absolutely delicious hamburgers with several kinds of melted cheeses; fried tomatoes; fried onions; avocado; bacon; ranch dressing on toasted wheat bread and a tad smickens of ketchup.

YUMMMMMM.

G'nite.

I made burgers too, but not so elaborate. I froze a couple for later in the week.

And instead of football, I watched Kim Novak and Marilyn Monroe movies.

Mine don't last that long.
I made a 4 quart casserole of chicken and rice casserole last night that was gone in less than an hour. That's a LOT of food.
I have one burger left - out of 7. But - it's the weekend so I expect that.
I have been an avid Steelers fan since I was a little boy - but I like the old movies, too!

I'm not much of a sports buff ... I occasionally watch golf--that's about it. But the food description is making my mouth water!

I was invited out for Chinese buffet after church this morning; then out for Italian this evening with another friend! In between I saw "Gran Torino"...online! Not a football fan, but your burgers DO sound tasty!

I watched both games and was very pleased about the outcomes...I'm rooting for the Cardinals to go all the way.

Ravens won! Yeah! Now the Steelers and the Ravens can have at it. Could there be a more perfect match for the playoffs?

Bonnie: I used to love golf - sorta gave up on it as other things took place in my life - plus the fact that a round of golf isn't exactly cheap these days.

Benita: Oh, I want to hear about Gran Torino! Clint Eastwood is one of my favorite actors of all time! Was the movie any good? I think you ate enough food for a couple of people......

Bobby: They were some good games. I guess I have to say that if the Steelers are knocked out of it this coming weekend, then definitely would stand behind Cardinals as a secondary team, since I happen to live here where they're at!

Deep: I dunno, it's gonna be a bit scary. Roethliberger hasn't looked as good as he did yesterday in a long, long time. He was hitting his targets on almost every throw. He was sharp and was definitely focused. I hope he's the same way this coming weekend...

Yes, I thought Gran Torino was a really good movie. It didn't end as I expected though. I would have done it differently. You will have to see it!
