 Friday - early

I have no idea at this point who is staying and who is going out of that park.  I know one dude is allegedly leaving today, something I would have liked him to advise me of in advance.  I don't know for sure, even now, I guess when I get back to the property after driving today I'll see if he's still there.

Someone is still letting their dog defecate in the park and not cleaning it up. I have not installed that security system yet.  I was going to but other things keep getting in the way.  The lady that's been cutting the grass said she found yet another one yesterday, tho it's been a while since it's happened.

I'm fairly certain it's going to be the tent lady's brother taking that dog out there and letting it do it's thing and him not cleaning it up, I won't know until I get cameras aimed that way and have actual proof positive. Installing that system hasn't been high on my list of priorities.  I'm more concerned right now about finances.

It's been cold here, at least our version of it. It barely got out of the 40's yesterday and the wind blowing made it chilly. Down in the high 20's in the morning, it's allegedly 30 right now, I believe it.  My room is cold, it gets that way when the outside temps drop and I just don't get enough share of the heating system to warm it up.  I do have room heaters.

Anyway, I'd write more but as always in the mornings, I am limited on time. Today is the run up to Gurdon.  The place has been packed at the scales.  I don't know what those logging truckers think, when they're lined up in 2 rows going back at least 1,000 feet to the highway and I just merrily pass them by. But then again, I face another 2 hours anyway offloading, while they get done relatively quickly once they get off the scale and down the road to the machinery that scoops the logs off of their trucks.

I'm just happy the scalemaster doesn't only suggest we bypass that mess, we should bypass it and "I don't want you waiting here".  Good, cause there is enough other stuff that can and sometimes does happen over at the offloading rack that eats up time.  Today will be the cold temps and thick/dense liquic trying to be forced through a tube at the bottom of the truck.  I know it will take at least an hour and a half just for the offload, which doesn't include finding someone to sign off on the paperwork before I can even begin or finishing up at the end by purging the tank with water, air and then purging the line with water and more air.

It's 2 hours easy.

And here it is, that time again.  Finish making my coffee for the thermos and get out of here.

G'day
