Tuesday - afternoon
Well, I've been a busy beaver today. I didn't want to be but there's stuff that just has to get done, you know how that goes. Over to the park to check on the grass, I paid James to do it and he did an excellent job. Then emptied out the quarter pans on the washer and dryer - complaints they wouldn't take any more quarters so I know there's over $400 worth in there, took out the trash and fired up the truck. It did, indeed, fire right up without hesitation. Picked up a bunch of trash people didn't quite make into the dumpster and left there.
Over to Kroger's for food. The house is basically emptied out of everyday staples, so I spent some cash on that deal. I was going to go wash the pickup after that but lo and behold, it started raining. Went over to Starbuck's instead. After that, home and put away all the food and continue on with laundry. My room smells bad, I'm washing everything to get that stench out of here. It's a dog thing, lol.
Talked to Taylor - they're driving home Friday - they're going to a zoo there. Well, they're at the zoo now. I sent a little money so the boys could go on the train and other rides. It's going to be their last hurrah, once they get home, there ain't gonna be much else. Maybe go to a splash pad or something, but we're talking cheap stuff.
The sickness and evil in the mind it takes to say something like: "You got what you asked for" or "You got what you voted for" and other reprehensible statements about blaming the right for the Texas Guadalupe River catastrophe? Unfathomable. My first thought when seeing pics of little girls who were swept away and killed by an "act of God" - tho I hardly blame the Lord for this, it's just a saying that it's totally out of man's control - isn't to think of democrats and how they somehow caused this.
It's along the same lines as when democrats were mocking the right for saying "Our thoughts and prayers are with you" when a mass school shooting occurred. You people - if you read this blog at all - are sick minded and need help. I said that and I'm not taking it back. You take an utter tragedy and turn it into some pitch for the mid terms? Go jump in an icy cold lake. This is one of the reasons your side is losing elections more often than not. You think it's perfectly normal to just continue on with this nasty, evil, immoral and totally depraved speech.
It's cold hearted, it's bereft of any compassion or understanding or sympathy of the people who are suffering the tragic loss of a loved one.
Whatever.
I think beyond laundry and more cleaning, I'm going to take it easy today. The week long activities caught up to me earlier and I just need to rest and get recharged.
