 Tuesday - mid afternoon

This day has disappeared.  I got up early, got on the road, got up to Gurdon. Found the glue man on the production line -which was completely shut down due to some person spraying water into an electrical cabinet and blowing the circuit breakers - who looked at the COA (certificate of analysis) and then walked off.  I followed him clear to the office where he sat down and said, well, one of these numbers is out of spec.

This is, obviously, not my fault or my problem. Well, it could be my problem if they decide to send the product back to the plant in Lufkin.  WELL over an hour later they had an answer: yes you can unload it. .

On the way back...

I was in the left lane on a 75 mph highway just  about to pass another truck. I had not been out there long, I stick to the right lane except for when I need to pass someone and I can tell ya, I don't spend a lot of time over there, the truck has balls and it gets up and goes.  But this dude in a truck that shreds documents came flying up behind me - he was going at least 85 - then passed me on the right and just barely squeezed his truck between the right lane rear bumper and my left lane front bumper.  I mean, it was really close.

I honked at the dude, it was an extremely dangerous maneuver that was unnecessary but he went zooming off so I just forgot about it.  Until I got to the next town. There he is in the left lane, I am now pulling up beside him in the right lane.  There is traffic both in front of me and this dude.  Well, the truck in front of him takes off from the light, I get up and get rolling.  I'm going through the gears, this dude is camped on the truck in front of him's bumper and I am about to pass this truck.  So what does this dude do?

The same damn thing all over again.  With almost no room whatsoever, he cuts me off, zooms pass the truck and then cuts him off.

Sunday - evening Brrrr, it's getting cold.  42 degrees with real feel of 39 at this hour of the day? I'd call that winter, at least...
