Friday - evening
Didn't finish the post I started on yesterday but I ended up publishing it anyway.
As of right now, I have worked 9 days straight and tomorrow will, of course, make 10. It will also be 4 days straight of getting up around 3:50 am - it varies for I frequently wake up before the alarm goes off. THAT gets old. ONE run of getting up early 2 days in a row is more than enough for me, 4 days? No thanks. I have to go to bed early, I don't sleep well and I ended up taking extended naps when I get home.
Today? I don't know how long I napped but I laid around in bed for 3 hours before getting back up. Sure, there's stuff to do but I was exhausted. I get one day off to sleep in and then Monday, back to the regular early load where I don't get up until 5 or 5:30, depending on what I want to set it at the night before. Or 5:15 if I want to spend time with the kids, it has to be 5:15 or earlier so I can get my stuff done before they get out of bed, dressed and ready to go.
I have tried a few times to get a new payoff loan - one that pays off credit card debt. I got one at high interest - it's 19 plus percent, but, that's better than the cc's that are around 30%. I tried again today, it's still high and I am just going to wait until they decide to do whatever they were talking about with loan interest rates. I want one to cover all the debt with a 5 year note such as I already have but at a much lower interest rate. It's amazing because my score is back in the 700's. These banks are greedy, that's all there is to it. They don't HAVE to charge that much interest and frankly, I find it unethical and immoral that they do that. They obviously don't and in my view, they will answer to God at some point for that. Or not, I don't know, I have my own issues to deal with, greed is not one of them. I help people out all the time. I freely give out of my own resources and I don't expect anything back.
If I were in the lending business, I'd put up an interest rate that covers all over your expenses and makes a decent amount back - but nothing like what these greedy, giant banks do.
Yesterday was my birthday and it was a mixed bag. One of the kids got into trouble for not producing all the homework he had to do this week and so, he was crying, pouting, bad mood. Happy birthday to me? Not really. The other one is always getting angry about something so that was nothing new but it was an unhappy household. I just ended up going into my room, shutting the door and enjoying my own company and playing some games with people.
We're going out tomorrow for the birthday dinner - whosever birthday it is gets to pick whatever restaurant they want to go to. I am opting for one 2 towns over, which is why it has been put off until this weekend, which is fine by me. It's Bubba 33's - national chain who mother ship also owns Texas Roadhouse and you'll often see both of those restaurants sitting side-by-side on newer builds. Or very close to each other at least. I like both, but I prefer 33's over roadhouse.
I also want to get yet another chair for this desk. This one I bought several months ago is a pile of garbage - a rather expensive pile of garbage, but garbage regardless. Several places in that town that sell office chairs and gaming chairs, I might just go for a gaming chair.
We normally go out to eat on Fridays but since we're doing that tomorrow? It 's "hash" she calls it . We had slow cooked roast last night for dinner, the left overs today will be all cut up - meat, potatoes and carrots - and fried in oil until nicely browned. I'd like to season it but I don't know if she 'll like that or not. I will probably put some in a separate pan to make mine and season it thoroughly. I know how to season foods that are being cooked, lol, I have about 56 years experience doing it.
